LucidStreamer IPTV — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026

LucidStreamer IPTV does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers operated by us. The app talks only to the IPTV service you configure it with. Everything below explains that in detail.

This policy covers the LucidStreamer IPTV app for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac. It is a separate app from MultiStreamer and has its own policy.

Information we collect

None. We operate no servers, no backend, and no accounts, so there is nothing for us to receive. Specifically, the app contains:

This is declared in the app's privacy manifest as "Data Not Collected" and "no tracking," and it is verifiable in the app's behaviour: it makes no network request to any server of ours, because none exists.

Information stored on your devices

The app stores what it needs to work. All of it stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account. We cannot see, access, or retrieve any of it.

Removing a provider deletes its stored details. Deleting the app removes its local data; data held in your iCloud account is managed by you through Apple's iCloud settings.

Network connections the app makes

The app connects only to:

The app's built-in demo mode makes no network requests at all. Its channels, guide, and video are contained in the app itself, so it can be tried without an IPTV service and works with no connection.

Because IPTV services are supplied by you and many are still HTTP-only, the app permits unencrypted connections to the address you enter. Whether your traffic to your provider is encrypted is determined by that provider, not by this app.

Subscriptions and payments

LucidStreamer Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple. Apple processes the purchase and handles all billing. We never see or receive your payment card, billing address, or Apple Account details. We receive only the anonymous, aggregated sales reporting that Apple provides to every developer, which does not identify individual customers.

Subscriptions are sold separately for iPhone and iPad, Apple TV, and Mac. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings.

Backups you create

The app can export your providers and settings to a backup file that you choose where to save. That file contains your providers' sign-in details in readable form. It is created at your request and goes only where you put it; it is never uploaded to us. Treat it like a password file, and be careful where you store or send it.

Other services you may use with the app

Tracking and data sharing

The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not use the Advertising Identifier, and does not present App Tracking Transparency prompts, because it has no reason to. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone, including data brokers — we have none to share.

Children

The app is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone regardless of age. It provides no content of its own; everything shown comes from the IPTV service the user supplies.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. The data the app uses is in your possession: in your device's Keychain, in your iCloud account, and in any backup file you exported. You can delete it at any time by removing providers, deleting the app, and managing your iCloud storage.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the app's App Store listing as well.
