EmoteBoard — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 September 2026

EmoteBoard does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers operated by us. Everything below explains that in detail.

This policy covers the EmoteBoard app for iPhone and the EmoteBoard keyboard that comes with it. It is a separate app from MultiStreamer and has its own policy.

The keyboard and Full Access

The EmoteBoard keyboard asks for Allow Full Access for two reasons only: to download emote images over the network, and to copy the emote you pick to the clipboard so you can paste it into your message. iOS shows a standard warning for every keyboard that requests Full Access; here is what EmoteBoard actually does with it:

Without Full Access the keyboard cannot load emotes; it shows instructions instead and collects nothing.

Information we collect

None. We operate no servers, no backend, and no accounts, so there is nothing for us to receive. Specifically, the app contains:

This is declared in the app's privacy manifest as "Data Not Collected" and "no tracking."

Network connections the app makes

When you search for or browse emotes, the app and keyboard connect directly from your device to the public services that host them:

Your search text is sent to those services so they can return matching emotes. These requests never pass through us. As with any website, those services can see your IP address and may log requests under their own privacy policies.

Information stored on your device

None of this leaves your device, and we cannot see, access, or retrieve it. Deleting the app removes its local data.

Purchases

EmoteBoard Lifetime is a one-time in-app purchase sold through Apple. Apple processes the purchase and handles all billing. We never see or receive your payment card, billing address, or Apple Account details. We receive only the anonymous, aggregated sales reporting that Apple provides to every developer, which does not identify individual customers.

Emote content

Emotes are created and uploaded by the communities of the services listed above, and belong to their respective creators. EmoteBoard is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch, 7TV, BetterTTV, or FrankerFaceZ. The app filters emotes that those services mark as mature and emotes with explicit names, but it cannot review every image. To report an emote that should not appear, email us its name.

Tracking and data sharing

The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not use the Advertising Identifier, and does not present App Tracking Transparency prompts, because it has no reason to. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone, including data brokers — we have none to share.

Children

The app is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone regardless of age.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. The data the app uses is in your possession, on your device, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your favorites and recents or deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the app's App Store listing as well.
